Rabbi K’vod Wieder has served Temple Beth El of South Orange County since 2011, where he has led worship, taught classes, developed community programs, and worked closely with congregants across generations.
Ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, Rabbi Wieder has focused throughout his rabbinate on multigenerational engagement, Jewish learning, community-building, and creating welcoming spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected to Jewish life.
Rabbi Wieder and his wife, Ilana, are the parents of Levi, Aiden, and Aviv, and look forward to joining and becoming part of the Beth Shalom community.

As Rabbi Mark Zimmerman concludes nearly 38 years of devoted leadership, Beth Shalom moves forward with deep gratitude for the community he helped nurture.
